Medicaid expansion wins support from six GOP governors

Ohio Gov. John Kasich is one of six Republican governors endorsing President Obama's medicaid expansion.

Six Republican governors are in favor of expanding Medicaid under the federal health care law, highlighting a crack in a GOP push to oppose the measure.

The LA Times is reporting that this key measure would expand Medicaid eligibility by covering people who make up to $15,500 a year. The provision would kick in in 2014.

Opposition governors say expanding Medicaid is unsustainable in the long term.
